Randi earned her LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) and APSW (Advanced Practice Social Worker) licenses and transferred them to Idaho because she holds a connection with Idaho and it’s residents. Currently living in West Virginia, she provides telehealth services to Idaho residents and aims to move back to Idaho and deepen her roots to provide her services in person. She has experience working with a wide range of ages (children, adults, and seniors) as well as a pretty wide range of needs, including helping others navigate mental health challenges, family dynamic issues, and crisis situations. She also has experience working with CPS and probation/parole systems. Randi has quickly developed a strong ability to meet others where they are without judgement all while assisting them with moving forward better equipped to manage their mental health challenges.

Randi’s therapeutic approach is practical and down-to-earth. She places high emphasis on emotional and mental health and behaviors that negatively affect her clients on a daily basis and works with them to learn how to recognize these behaviors. Then she and her clients work together to develop effective coping strategies that have a valid (real world) impact on managing these challenges. Randi refers to several therapy types, often pulling from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and Trauma-Informed care in her therapy. She focuses on helping her clients make sense of what they are going through and works alongside them to identify what types of change are possible, best, and what those changes look like for them, realistically.
